Doris Luey is Head of Social Innovation at New World Development Company Limited (the Group). Doris is in charge of developing and steering new social innovation and entrepreneurship and accelerating the synergy of the traditional and the new.
Founded by Dr Adrian Cheng and led by Doris, Eureka Nova is a new brand fully backed by the Group and committed to making the mark in the Hong Kong startup ecosystem, helping to make the city a hub for incubating creative technology and nurturing innovative entrepreneurship among the millennials. Startups are benefitted from testing and validating their business ideas with the support from diversified business units of the Group in the Greater Bay Area.
Doris also played a major role in youth development services prior to the launch of Eureka Nova. In the past years, under her leadership, various channels of youth exchanges were established between Hong Kong and provinces and areas like Gansu, Shaanxi, Turkey and Kenya, benefitting hundreds of youth. The Group has also been co-curating coaching and training programmes to youth residing in the Greater Bay Area since 2017, encouraging entrepreneurship spirit, disruptive innovation and technology application, as well as grooming talents. The activities promote the exchange of cultures and broaden the horizons of youth in the Greater Bay Area.
Doris is also dedicated to other community services. She is a Member of Advocacy & Public Relations Committee of UNICEF, a Member of the Museums Advisory Committee (MAC) and a Member of the History Sub-committee under the MAC.
